The hare and the tortoise One day,the hare and the tortoise raced to run. The hare laughed at the tortoise’s slow climbing. The tortoise said that one day he would win. The hare said,‘’We shall start the race now.‘’ The hare ran fast and the tortoise crawled with all his strength. In a few moments the hare was much farther away from the tortoise. The hair thought the race was too easy.He lay down to sleep for a while,and arrogantly thought that even when he woke up,the tortoise would not be able to catch up with him. As for the tortoise,he kept crawling,and when the hare woke up,the tortoise had already reached the finish line.
