三只小豬
Once upon a time there were three little pigs，
從前有三只小豬，
and the time came for them to leave home and seek their fortunes.
他們長大了，要離開家去開始自己的人生啦。
Before they left, their mother told them " Whatever you do , do it the best that you can because that's the way to get along in the world.
在離家之前，媽媽叮囑他們：不管你們以后做什么事兒，都要盡可能做到最好，因為這是世界上的生存法則。
The first little pig built his house out of straw because it was the easiest thing to do.
第一只小豬用稻草蓋了一座房子，因為他覺得這是最簡單的一種方法。
The second little pig built his house out of sticks.
第二只小豬用木棍建了一座房子，
This was a little bit stronger than a straw house.
這比稻草房子要結實一些。
The third little pig built his house out of bricks.
第三只小豬用磚頭建了一座房子。
One night the big bad wolf, who dearly loved to eat fat little piggies, came along and saw the first little pig in his house of straw.
一天晚上，一只特別喜歡吃小肥豬的大灰狼出現(xiàn)了，他看見了住在稻草房子里的小豬。
He said "Let me in, Let me in, little pig or I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in!"
他說：讓我進來，讓我進來，小豬，不然我就吹啊吹啊，把你的房子吹倒。
"Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin", said the little pig.
不給不給就不給，第一只小豬說 。
But of course the wolf did blow the house in and ate the first little pig.
可是，大灰狼當然把房子給吹倒了，并且，吃掉了第一只小豬
The wolf then came to the house of sticks.
大灰狼又來到木頭房子的面前
"Let me in,Let me in little pig or I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in"
讓我進來，讓我進來，小豬，不然我就把你的房子吹倒。
"Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin", said the second pig.
不給不給就不給，第二只小豬說
But the wolf blew that house in too, and ate the second little pig.
可是，大灰狼把木頭房子也吹倒了，吃掉了第二只小豬。
The wolf then came to the house of bricks.
大灰狼來到磚頭房子面前
" Let me in , let me in" cried the wolf "Or I'll huff and I'll puff till I blow your house in"
讓我進來，讓我進來，小豬，不然我就把你的房子吹倒。
"Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin" said the pig.
不給不給就不給，第三只小豬說
Well, the wolf huffed and puffed but he could not blow down that brick house.
不過，不管大灰狼怎么使勁兒地吹，房子都沒有倒。
But the wolf was a sly old wolf and he climbed up on the roof to look for a way into the brick house.
可是這只狡猾的老狐貍爬到磚房的房頂上去尋找進入房子的入口啦
The little pig saw the wolf climb up on the roof ，
小豬看到大灰狼爬到了房頂上，
and lit a roaring fire in the fireplace and placed on it a large kettle of water.
于是在壁爐里升起熊熊大火，還在火上放了一大罐子的水。
When the wolf finally found the hole in the chimney，
這時候大灰狼終于找到了煙囪上的洞，
he crawled down and splashed right into that kettle of water。
他慢慢地爬了下來，“撲通”一聲掉進了那個大水罐
and that was the end of his troubles with the big bad wolf.
于是大灰狼就這樣完蛋了，小豬取得了勝利。
The next day the little pig invited his mother over.
第二天小豬把媽媽邀請到家里來。
She said "You see it is just as I told you. The way to get along in the world is to do things as well as you can."
媽媽說：我跟你說過吧，世界上的生存法則，就是盡力把事情做到最好。
Fortunately for that little pig, he learned that lesson.
這只小豬是幸運的，他學到了人生中這重要的一課。
And he just lived happily ever after!
從此以后，他過著幸?？鞓返纳睢?
